Insomnia and Better Sleep
If you want to enjoy a better nights sleep but can't, you may have had to take some measures and made some changes
in your daily life or even in your diet. Many people struggle to have a good sound sleep at night, but unfortunately, stress and invasion of all kinds of thoughts can be a real problem.
Statistics reveal extremely worrying numbers, as almost half of the adult population in the western world complains of insomnia. It very tormenting and frustrating to realize that it already time to get up and you did not sleep a wink. If this happens on a regular basis, then there is no doubt that you suffer from insomnia.
The effects on insomnia are extremely unpleasant and can have serious results in time, if left untreated. People become anxious, irritable and even emotionally unstable. They have difficulties in concentrating at work, their mood is altered, and social relations get affected. Insomnia can also lead to serious forms of depressions.
Using pills to induce sleep is not a solution to your problem. The quality of sleep is reduced and your body will become tolerant to the drugs, asking for larger doses that can be dangerous.
Hypnosis is a natural way of treating insomnia. It is a safe and guaranteed solution for a better sleep. Hypnosis makes you relax, by inducing to your subconscious positive thoughts. It, practically, re-programs or re-educates your mind to relax and to eliminate all those tormenting and bothering thoughts.
The therapist will help you analyze your life story to identify the cause of your insomnia problem. You will get into a state of total relaxation and your subconscious mind will open for new suggestions – a new style of living, of working, to enjoy small but meaningful things in your life.
If you can’t find the time to see a therapist you can resort to self-hypnosis. Here are some tips:
Put some nice background classic music or nature sounds to help you relax.
Close your eyes, and relax your body.
Take deep breaths and imagine that all the negative thoughts simply vanish and leave room only for positive thoughts and emotions.
Even if your mind starts to wander, don’t give up and focus on relaxation.
Try to imagine a green filed full of trees and flowers and imagine you actually touch and smell these flowers.
You feel so relaxed, that you fall asleep.
Just put your head on the pillow and let yourself carried into the dreams world.
By repeating this technique several times, you’ll notice that your sleeping has improved significantly. Of course, hypnosis must be combined with other ways of treating insomnia. One of them is giving up coffee or at least cut in half the amount of coffee you have.
Another advice is to avoid stimulants like nicotine or energizers that can have bad influence on the quality of your sleep. You may also try to sleep eight hours a day and regularize the hour you go to bed and the one you wake up. You body will get used to this hours and you will fall asleep easier.

Happy Canada Day! Your not a proper country, just an independent Kingdom!! God Bless You!!
It has now been shown that people use the same part of the brain to think about the future as they do to think about the past and bring back memories according to a recent study.
A team of US researchers have been using imaging techniques to reveal that when thinking about the future and the past people access the same part of the brain. Researcher Karl Szpunar said thinking about the future could be impossible without also thinking about the past.

Nature or Nurture
As many experts would acknowledge, brain development can be influenced for good or bad by the upbringing of our children. However, genetics also play a role that cannot be discounted. While saying this, there are examples of individuals who appeared to be born with a genetic disadvantage to their peers and yet surpassed them due to the excellent parenting that was given to them.
So, what can you do to determine how your children will turn out? Focusing on parental care and attention is always the best recommendation, and the least expensive. You cannot guarantee how your children will fare, but they will always be more successful with a supportive and loving family than without.

Children Need Stimulation
The broader range of activities and experiences a child has will increase the connections made. Clearly, the fact that the greatest growth in connections is made when young indicates that providing this stimulation early on will affect your child's abilities later on.
Does this mean that parents with little money are not capable of raising intelligent, well-balanced children? Does it mean that all children with access to specialized education will do better?
Children Learn From Play
Educators believe that unstructured play is crucial to brain development. When parent's guide every activity or bombard their children with planned activities and lessons while leaving out free play, they do not allow the creativity necessary for social, mental and emotional skills.
Parents Who Care
Although many would agree that children are strongly affected by their peer group, it is actually parents who develop a child to become caring, self-assured and well-balanced. Parent's should never discount the benefits they are providing for their children by being attentive and responsive to their children.
Children's development also requires emotional connections with parents and others. When babies are not held, touched and played with they actually form fewer connections in their brain.

It is a parent's natural instinct to always want their child to be happy and have the best. How many know the challenge we face to get them in to the best schools, invest their money in extra-curricula activities such as ballet, art and musical lessons and even start reading and sharing music with them before they are even born. However, the question still remains to be answered, can any of this help your child become a successful adult?
----------So How Does the Brain Works?
Researchers have now discovered that in the brain are connections called synapses which are like building blocks which control functions such as incoming information, expressing emotions and learning language. So to answer the above question , how are these connections fabricated? they are built both by genetics and also by stimuli from the environment.
These connections are like an internal wiring system that will determine and affect your child's abilities for learning, communication and interacting.
'Nation' magazine reports that brain connections are being wired at an extraordinarily fast rate in the early years of a child's life. So how can this possibly affect your children?
